The minute Pete heard about Miracles of Ice, he said “I’m in!” He was there every camp, every year, bringing his great smile and large presence walking in wearing his signature Hawaiian shirt. One year, he brought his boom box and played The Beach Boys music. Our campers had no clue, but us older ones enjoyed it along with him. When 3 of his daughters got a bit older, he brought them each year to volunteer. We will miss him dearly. He is a part of our MOI family and a big part of our hearts. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
